Growing up in India, if someone asked me for a free coffee for example, I’d give it. The thing is, whatever you have, you just have to give. I think if you’re showing humanity, you’re showing service, then God will choose you to connect with him.
Basically, all religions say the same thing. I happened to get chosen by Hinduism and I started only with Krishna. I believe that if you stay connected to the source of your being, whatever name you give it, and keep remembering that thing, then magic happens.
Like when I left India and went to Dubai, I got a work sponsorship straight away and ended up spending eight years there. Here in Alice Springs, I’ve set up my own coffee business, and I’ve had so much help in doing that. I’ve got so many stories like that, when miracles happen.
I live by the four pillars in life, humanity, service, surrender and remember. There’s responsibility in being human and it’s important to understand that.
Humanity is treating others with basic kindness and compassion, simply because they exist. Whatever you have, you give to serve people. I also believe that whatever you plan in life never unfolds exactly your way, because there’s a greater plan at work. And each day, I take an hour to remember God.
